Pregnant Man Thomas Beatie Is Pregnant Again!

Two years ago, Thomas Beatie, legally a man in the state of Oregon, made headlines all over the world when it was confirmed that he had actually been born a she, still had female reproductive organs and was, therefore, pregnant. One year later, in the summer of 2009, Beatie and wife Nancy welcomed a second child. In 2010, they will become parents for the third time, as MomLogic informs.

Confirmation of this does not come from Thomas and wife Nancy directly, as was the case with the two previous pregnancies, but the aforementioned media outlet claims the report is one hundred percent accurate. Whether the two are expecting a baby boy or a girl is not known yet, as neither is the due date, but the report says Thomas is already showing and is very happy for being with child again.

Who can forget the day Oregon native Thomas Beatie, a transgender living as a man, and his wife welcomed baby girl Susan (June 29, 2008)? Or the day Beatie gave birth to his second child, a boy (June 9, 2009)? Now, in keeping with his one-kid-per-year tradition, Beatie is pregnant with his third child and is proudly showing off his baby bump,” MomLogic says in a recent post.

Thomas Beatie, 35, wife Nancy, 46 and their two children live in Oregon, running a family business called Define Normal. As we were also telling you a while back, after word got out that Beatie, whom everybody though was a regular man, had actually been a woman once and was now expecting a child, he and his family began receiving threats. He refused to move to another city though, saying he and Nancy planned on living a “normal” life and no normal couple would just pick up and switch residences like that, he said.

Also then, he talked about why he decided to go to press with his pregnancy. “Hiding a pregnant man is like hiding an 800-pound gorilla. Nancy and I wanted to tell our story from our own mouths before it got out. I was shocked that it looped around the world in 24 hours. I mean, it was on Chinese Web sites and, you know, Web sites in Romania and Russia and Brazil,”
